Montana Wedding Day | Alexandra + Max

Alexandra & Max are a super sweet & adventurous couple who live in Jackson, WY. They chose to tie the knot at her uncle's residence in Emigrant, MT. Curated by Katalin Green events, the wedding was a several-day affair designed to welcome and entertain family and friends, highlighting the beauty and wonder of Montana.

Since I'm in Billings, they're in Jackson & the wedding was in Emigrant, we happened to meet when I went skiing in Targhee one weekend this spring. On my way back home, I drove over the pass into Jackson & met them at Persephone Bakery (which is AMAZING) by the way, and got to have coffee & breakfast & chat. I knew the wedding would be fun, but meeting them made me even more excited to hang out/work together. The fact that I get to intertwine work & play (at times) is pretty rad.

The wedding party's itinerary included a trail ride, rafting & skeet shooting. The reception was held in a transformed barn, which was rocked by The Tiny Band (out of Bozeman) and a packed dance floor – I heard several guests laugh & shout, "are we at a wedding or a concert?!" Overall, this day was one to remember and I am excited to share it with you all!

KIND WORDS

“Alison is an incredibly talented photographer. Everything about her work is superiorly timeless and the quality is beautiful. She has captured our family for years and always makes everyone feel at home and comfortable wherever we are. She is timely in response and so easy to work with. Her photographs always go up in our home as a piece of artwork instead of just a family picture.”
